Is the sign up bonus the only exciting thing about the Standard Chartered Visa Infinite X Metal Credit Card?

I am planning for my wedding and would have loved to get Standard Chartered Visa Infinite X Metal Credit Card but my fiancée says there only special thing about the card is the promotional sign up bonus. Is that the only excitement to it?

Yes the promo sign up bonus was exciting and I am one of the lucky few with the awesome sign up bonus but considering its high annual fee it just has basic perks and I may not continue on my second year unless the renewal bonus is great. Also I feel the online user interface and points redemption can be made to be much better though. One last exciting thing is that Standard chartered EasyRewards allows X Cardholders to use their 360° Rewards Points to offset Travel Purchase Qualifying Transactions or to use their Rewards Points via Transfer Rewards to redeem for Hotel Partner Points or Airline Partner Miles.

Zero Travel Related Online Merchants

The Citi SMRT card is a pretty decent card for spending but they unfortunately exclude travel related online merchants. This to me is the downside of the card and may be a reason to get another card for travel websites.

So it is really convenient that I can get and use my card instantly when I apply via MyInfo. And the cards instant digital card that can be used for mobile wallets, online and mobile app purchases. Now aside from the same day physical credit card issuance for online applications you also get S$50 cash rebate upon approval with no minimum spend required. However that is only for new OCBC Credit Card applications.

Customer care service at top notch

This is my first credit card and I was pleased with the process as the application was absolutely stress free and smooth with customer care service at top notch. I actually felt taken care of and it appeared I could rely on customer care service for virtually any issue. Plus they have a simple tracking system of cashback rewards, with a good App and web UI/UX.

Poor and upleasant hotline

I am a fresh graduate and just started my first job, I signed up for this card due to the onetime $150 cash back reward for $800 spend within the first two months. However for its main monthly rewards, it is nothing to be pleasant about and the hotline is very bad, I even had to hold more than 20 minutes during non-peak hour.
