Unfortunately you will not be able to hold on to both the MANHATTAN Card and a regular credit card. You are expected/required to cancel your MANHATTAN Card before applying for a new credit card. But yes you can apply for a regular credit card with a higher credit limit if you are earning at least S$30,000 per annum.

What Cashback card would you recommend for an Undergrad or a first time jobber?

In my humble opinion, I will have to say MANHATTAN $500 card as they let you hang loose with a cool $500 credit limit and Cashback on all your spends. You earn 0.25% Cashback on everything you spend and Cashback is awarded monthly and reflected on your monthly statements. Cashback is applicable only for retail spending and is not awarded on payment for annual fees, late fees and such other similar forms of payment. The Bank reserves the right to amend any terms of the Cashback, including its percentage, at its sole discretion without notice. And they offer a waiver for the first year annual fee of about $32.
