Hit the minimum target of $600 to maximise your cashback.

Considering that I don't spend very much it is hard for me to meet the minimum spend to maximise my cashback on this card but irrespective, it's currently the best card for me since I'm using the DBS Multiplier account and I get extra interest when I spend on DBS credit cards. It is also quite a useful card to use when you are about to go on holiday to make hotel bookings and payment online. You should look to hit the minimum $600 to maximise your cashback.

DBS Live Fresh Card / DBS Bank

Cool card that is all about rebates and more rebates

This card is perfect for my everyday use, starting from the 15% cash rebates on dining, bus and MRT rides, the 5% cash rebates when I decide to shop at Sheng Siong and 3% cash rebates at Watsons. It is a good card to have overall and actually one of the best cashback credit cards for cash rebates at Sheng Siong, Watsons and SPC petrol kiosks.

Every dollar spent earns you points

SAFRA DBS Card ensures that every dollar spent at participating outlets and facilities at SAFRA earns card users 1 SAFRAPOINT in addition to the Credit/Debit cash rebates the also offer. I realise that their rewards programme also offers a wide range of attractive products, services and vouchers from which you are free to choose your redemption item from.

A rewardiing 0.5% rebate on all card spends

Although a 0.5% voucher rebate sounds like it’s not that exciting but when you consider that it is a 0.5% rebate on all card spend, that is all your shopping, dining and other card spend turned into voucher rebates to offset your shopping at Takashimaya Department Store, then it begins to make more sense as a deal. Plus you can redeem S$10 Takashimaya Shopping Voucher with every S$2000 spent outside Takashimaya Department Store per quarter.

A loyalty programme that gives me equivalent of 2.4%3 in additional fuel savings.

Getting the DBS Esso Card got me an auto-enrolment into the Esso Smiles Driver Rewards programme. This loyalty programme for Esso customers in Singapore gives me equivalent of up to 2.4%3 in additional fuel savings. So I basically earn 1 Smiles Point for every litre of Synergy fuel purchased at any Esso station and benefit from a S$10 instant fuel redemption with as low as 300 Smiles Points earned or up to S$30 instant fuel redemption with 750 Smiles Points earned.

DBS Esso Card / DBS Bank

Great credit card for online spending

This to me is a good card for online spending only and nothing else I am afraid. Furthermore points are not always rewarded when they should be and may result in you at the losing end if you are not fully conversant with how to track your points awarded. Great credit card for online spending and you could get up to 10x DBS points for it however at a cap of $2000 per month.

DBS Woman’s Card / DBS Bank

A 6% cashback promotion just makes life better and brighter

DBS Black 6% cashback promotion just makes life bigger, better and brighter. That is how I see the 6% cashback on all spend with your DBS Black VISA Card. And setting up is quite easy too as it took me only to register my interest and spend a minimum of S$1,000 in each calendar month during the promotion while new Card members who have applied for the Card during the Promotion Period will be automatically enrolled to participate in the Promotion.

An all-in-one-card that affords more convenience

I finally got an all-in-one-card in DBS NUSS Card that will afford me the convenience of a combined credit and membership card and to auto-charge NUSS bills to your Card while staying connected to the country’s foremost graduate society all at the same time. Additionally, you can receive complimentary annual fee waiver as long as you’re a NUSS Member and earn 2 DBS Rewards Points for every S$5 spend at any of the NUSS F&B outlets, and earn 1 DBS Rewards Point for every S$5 you charge to your card island wide.

I got up to 6 miles per dollar on Expedia

First of all the card miles don't expire, and I got up to 6 miles per dollar on Expedia, I am a mile chaser although a rookie and would recommend thus card for any rookie miles chaser. The complimentary lounge excess was a fun experience for me plus the fact that you can choose to waive annual fees or pay it for 10,000 miles. Definitely not a bad deal especially if you are looking to redeem for business class and above.

The cards designs may be the only highpoint

I must say that the cards design and marketing looks very cool but unfortunately, that's about it for me. The promise of attractive cashback comes with too many caveats that I didn't bother with after a while. Among all my other cards, this is the one I use the least. Nothing amazing or outstanding. Could do without it too.

DBS Live Fresh Student Card / DBS Bank

This student credit card is a must have indeed and with no minimum spending to maintain

This student credit card is a must have indeed and with no minimum spending to maintain, it's always good to know you have a credit card you can use without the worry of maintaining a certain monthly spending. Also, there are a ton of perks which come with this card, in particular, you get to enter Zouk for free only make sure you are an early bird when visiting.

DBS Live Fresh Card / DBS Bank

It isn't as attractive as compared to what its competition in the student credit card sphere are offering

With only a 0.3% cashback on all spending, it isn't as attractive as compared to what its competition in the student credit card sphere are offering. However, there are perks for using this card, such as the free entry to Zouk and other deals for DBS cards can be utilised with your DBS Visa Debit Card as well. So you might want give this a try or not but it’s up to you.

The cash back is a good bonus although not significant if purchases are little in value

The cash back is a good bonus although not significant if purchases are little in value. I prefer the old design compared to this new one plus I did not receive much promotions and perks to use this particular card with. But from what I gather, it is a very useful card for students and young adults with a cashback every month on spending, good customer service from DBS, easy bill payments and so on.

DBS Live Fresh Card / DBS Bank

Unfortunately the promise of attractive cashback comes with too many caveats

I think this card is ok but among all my other cards, this is the one I use the least. Pretty much because there is nothing amazing or spectacular about this card as it were. On the other hand, the card design and marketing looks cool but unfortunately the promise of attractive cashback comes with too many caveats that I didn't bother after a while.

The POSB Everyday Card is a great option for moms and families who spend across a variety of categories

The POSB Everyday Card is a great option for moms and families who spend across a variety of categories. While rates may differ with different promotional offerings, cardholders are frequently rewarded with high rates for spend in essential categories. For example, consumers typically earn rebates of up to 15% on dining, groceries, transport, personal care and utilities, plus up to 20% in fuel savings. Even with its annual fee of S$192.6 waived the first year, average spenders can quickly recoup the cost while earning additional rewards for daily spend.

POSB Everyday Card offers families and average spenders a convenient way to earn cashback for diversified spend

POSB Everyday Card offers families and average spenders a convenient way to earn cashback for diversified spend. Consumers earn rebates on dining, groceries, petrol, health and wellness, transport, and even recurring bills which are often excluded from cashback rates. Although some rates apply only to specific merchants, they are mostly big brands offering up to 20.1% petrol savings with SPC, 15% rebate with Parking.sg, 5% with Gojek, Ryde, & Comfort del Gro, 5% at Sheng Siong, and 3% on wellness products at Watsons. Consumers also earn 1% cash rebate on recurring bills with select merchants, but earnings are capped at just S$1 per month, which is quite low.

POSB Everyday Card / DBS Bank

POSB Everyday Card offers promotional rebates that are not merchant specific

POSB Everyday Card does offer promotional rebates that are not merchant specific were cardholders earn up to 15% cashback on online food delivery and public transport bus and MRT rides, as well as 5% at restaurants, cafes, and other dining outlets. One drawback is that these promotional rates are contingent on reaching a Personalised Spend Goal, which DBS assigns on a person-to-person basis according to average spending patterns. If a cardholder fails to meet this minimum, they will only be rewarded with a base rebate of 0.3%.

POSB Everyday Card / DBS Bank

Card proves an exceptional fit for those with a high volume of spend on daily essentials

While POSB Everyday Card is very versatile, category rewards rates may still be lower than some competitors. For instance some offer 10% cashback on dining, transport, medical spend and more, and OCBC 365 Card offers 3% cashback on recurring telco and electricity bills. Nonetheless, POSB Everyday Card often offers promotional rates in key categories like dining and transport that boost the card's value significantly. Overall, POSB Everyday Card proves an exceptional fit for those with a high volume of spend on daily essentials. While the annual fee of S$192.6 is waived for only the first year, the broad range of cashback opportunities allow average consumers to quickly recoup this cost while continuing to earn rewards.

POSB Everyday Card / DBS Bank

In my opinion the best cashback for the POSB Everyday Card is for petrol at SPC 6% bonus cashback

The POSB Everyday Card probably owes its reputation to its key bonus rebates for Sheng Siong and Watsons, where you can earn 5% and 3% cashback respectively. For the former, cashback is capped at $50, which means you can spend up to $1,000 per month. In my opinion the best cashback for the POSB Everyday Card is for petrol at SPC 6% bonus cashback and a direct 15% discount when you use it with an SPC&U card.

POSB Everyday Card / DBS Bank

Note that SAFRA$1 is equivalent to S$1

SAFRA DBS Card / DBS Bank

This credit card gives 3% on selected merchants and 0.3% on the other merchants as long as a SAFRA member card

This is an all in one card of sort which I use to get cash from the ATM and my Ezlink card for when I am travelling. The credit card gives me 3% on selected merchants and 0.3% on the other merchants as long as a SAFRA member card. This is certainly one of the best cards to have with plenty of activities at SAFRA for my family. To crown it all, there is no need to call to get a fee waiver as its automatic waived for SAFRA members.

DBS personal loans are based on either your credit card or personal line of credit

DBS personal loans are based on either your credit card or personal line of credit. Thus if you have DBS credit card or DBS Cashline and a DBS deposit account, you can apply through internet banking and get your loan processed immediately and credited instantly into your account. However if you don’t have a DBS credit card you can still get this loan, but you will have to furnish your income documents and obviously you won’t get the funds right away

DBS Personal Loan / DBS Bank

Lowest rates for new and used car loans in Singapore

DBS charges interest rate of 2.28% for its car loans to individuals that apply online and that is the lowest rate offered for both new and used car loans in Singapore. In my opinion this makes DBS the most affordable option for those that require financing in order to purchase a vehicle. It is also worth noting that DBS is currently offering an even lower rate for the purchase of used cars (1.99% p.a.) in a promotion.

DBS Car Loan / DBS Bank

Offering material savings for those with a significant amount of debt.

POSB and DBS are offering the most significant promotional deal for debt consolidation loans. This promotion provides a cashback of 3% of the approved loan amount to borrowers. This can result in material savings, especially for those with a significant amount of debt. While the banks charges S$99 for processing fee, it is rather insignificant for applicants that receive the cashback promotion. Additionally POSB and DBS advertise flat interest rates as low as 3.98% (7.23% EIR). These rates are among the lowest available in our review of debt consolidation plans in Singapore however, they are not guaranteed.

DBS Debt Consolidation Plan / DBS Bank

Gain great benefits while remitting money abroad

For fellow expats working in Singapore, this current promotion is great for those who need to remit USD overseas. This is where good planning is necessary. You don’t only benefit from exchanging money at your desired rate, but earn even more at the same time with the 2.5% p.a. interest. Plus, when you do transfer after the 4 months, you’ll get to enjoy same-day transfers at S$0 when doing so online with DBS Remit!

DBS Multi-Currency Account / DBS Bank

Good for new to workforce adult with minimal saving.

The interest is quite low on this card as compared with other saving plan. It deducts 2 dollars per month on your account balance if it is lower than $500. The interest rate is minimal and there are no incentive to save each month. Super good account as they do not need initial deposit to open the account. Good for new to workforce adult that have not much saving.
