What are the requirements to renew your WSHO certificate?

You are entitled to your gross rate of pay on a public holiday if you were not absent on the working day before or after a holiday without consent or you are on authorised leave. Salary related disputes and employment disputes between the employee and employers are managed by the Tripartite Alliance for Dispute Management (ATDM). Employees and employers register their salary and dismissal related claims at the ATDM. A claim referal certificate to the Employment Claims Tribunal (ECT) will be issued if claims cannot be resolved through mediation.

Claims usually made by the emplyees are statutory salary related claims from all employees that are covered by the Employment Act, Retirement and Re-employment Act and Child Developmen Co-Saving Act, Contractual salary-related claims not including domestic helpers andpublic servants and wrongful dismissal claims.
