Should I register my business even if it online?

Not everyone is in the field of working for someone. Sometimes we are in the area of buy and selling or retailing. I opened a store recently that is about retailing and it is also a buy and sell field. I do not know if I should be registering my business to the authorities even though it is an online shop. I use my social media to contact.

There are increasing presence of web-based businesses in Singapore. You can find them anywhere online. But some of them are not being recognized by the authorities of Singapore. Under the laws, Singapore Broadcasting Authority (SBA) Act, all licensable broadcasting services, including computer online services provided by Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and Internet Content Providers (ICPs) must be licensed. You will also need to register with ACRA.
