What should I do when the tour guide damaged my phone?

We were trekking up a mountain for three straight hours so we decided to rest. I put down my phone on top of my bag and get for water in front of me. While our tour guide from the travel promo was drinking, he tripped and accidentally spilled water everywhere, including where my phone was. When I checked it, it wasn't working. That's why I'm wondering if the travel insurance will cover damages.

Some travel insurance covers damages, lost, and even stolen valuables or belongings of the one travelling. This is under the staycation part of the travel insurance. Some applies this to accidental damage because in some cases of travel insurance, they do not cover damages related about spilling water over an electronic gadget.
