Am I entitled to public holidays?

I am a non-singaporean employee workinbg in Singapore. As we are all aware, Singapore has its own sets of holidays. Are non=Singaporeans also entitled to rest on the public holidays? What are the different public holidays in Singapore? If we are entitled to those public holidays, how many public holidays are we entitled to?

You are entitled to 11 paid public holidays a year. If you are required to work on a public holiday, your employer should pay you an extra day’s salary or grant you off in lieu. The 11 gazetted public holidays are New Year’s Day, Chinese New Year – first and second day, Hari Raya Puasa, Hari Raya Haji, Good Friday, Labour Day, Vesak Day, National Day, Deepavali, Christmas Day.
