Is it ethical to try a homemade herbal medicine to a family member?

I have learned a lot things from other countries. Most of the things that I have learned from them are effective. A family member of mine got a simple illness and wants to go to the hospital. I learned a herbal medication from this country that can make her sickness go away. Can I use it to cure her?

When someone is sick, you should get medicines to get rid of the illness that they have. Some people uses herbal medicines to cure the illness that they are having. Some people do not trust these herbal medicines. Most of the herbal medicines that people do are recognized by the medical field experts. It can sometimes be more effective than the usual medicines that we have.
