What are the universities that I could enroll that offers good education?

My family and I just moved here in Singapore last month. I grew up in America. I will be in college this next school year and my parents want me to look for a university I know I could fit in and I would be comfortable with. I am looking for a university that has my desired course, which is mechanical engineering and that also near our house so there would be no hassle for travel.

Singapore has a lot of schools that offer different courses in your field. If you are a foreigner, it is not that much of an adjustment because Singapore maintaince a friendly educational environment for the students who strives to finish their degrees. You can see the ratings of the schools via internet and compare them.
