A contract of service is an agreement in which one person agrees to employ another as an employee and the other person agrees to serve the employer as an employee. Salary related disputes and employment disputes between the employee and employers are managed by the Tripartite Alliance for Dispute Management (ATDM). Employees and employers register their salary and dismissal related claims at the ATDM. A claim referal certificate to the Employment Claims Tribunal (ECT) will be issued if claims cannot be resolved through mediation.
