Who are covered by the WICA?

I have an employee that was injured while working in our company. I want to help my employee with the expenses so I searched ways to help my employee. I've learned that Workplace Accident Compensation acts takes claims regarding this and would be able to help. Who are covered by this act and who are not covered? Who can claim?

    No Name

Basically it covers any local or foreign employee who is under a contract of service or contract of apprenticeship, regardless of salary, age or nationality. It doesn’t cover Independent contractors and the self-employed, domestic workers and uniformed personnel You can claim for compensation if you have been injured or contracted a disease as a result of work.
