Do I have to credit my POSB Everyday card to my Multiplier to fulfil its credit card component?

Who can advise if I have to credit my POSB Everyday card to my Multiplier to fulfil its credit card component or alternatively do I link my credit card to another POSB savings account to get to fulfil the multiplier credit card category?

    No Name

No there is no need to link the POSB Everyday card to any of your existing bank accounts. Basically you pay your monthly credit card bill by transferring the money from any of your bank accounts. At the end of the day, you will still qualify for interest rate. Hope this helps!

Cool card that is all about rebates and more rebates

This card is perfect for my everyday use, starting from the 15% cash rebates on dining, bus and MRT rides, the 5% cash rebates when I decide to shop at Sheng Siong and 3% cash rebates at Watsons. It is a good card to have overall and actually one of the best cashback credit cards for cash rebates at Sheng Siong, Watsons and SPC petrol kiosks.

The POSB Everyday Card is a great option for moms and families who spend across a variety of categories

The POSB Everyday Card is a great option for moms and families who spend across a variety of categories. While rates may differ with different promotional offerings, cardholders are frequently rewarded with high rates for spend in essential categories. For example, consumers typically earn rebates of up to 15% on dining, groceries, transport, personal care and utilities, plus up to 20% in fuel savings. Even with its annual fee of S$192.6 waived the first year, average spenders can quickly recoup the cost while earning additional rewards for daily spend.

POSB Everyday Card offers families and average spenders a convenient way to earn cashback for diversified spend

POSB Everyday Card offers families and average spenders a convenient way to earn cashback for diversified spend. Consumers earn rebates on dining, groceries, petrol, health and wellness, transport, and even recurring bills which are often excluded from cashback rates. Although some rates apply only to specific merchants, they are mostly big brands offering up to 20.1% petrol savings with SPC, 15% rebate with Parking.sg, 5% with Gojek, Ryde, & Comfort del Gro, 5% at Sheng Siong, and 3% on wellness products at Watsons. Consumers also earn 1% cash rebate on recurring bills with select merchants, but earnings are capped at just S$1 per month, which is quite low.

POSB Everyday Card offers promotional rebates that are not merchant specific

POSB Everyday Card does offer promotional rebates that are not merchant specific were cardholders earn up to 15% cashback on online food delivery and public transport bus and MRT rides, as well as 5% at restaurants, cafes, and other dining outlets. One drawback is that these promotional rates are contingent on reaching a Personalised Spend Goal, which DBS assigns on a person-to-person basis according to average spending patterns. If a cardholder fails to meet this minimum, they will only be rewarded with a base rebate of 0.3%.

Card proves an exceptional fit for those with a high volume of spend on daily essentials

While POSB Everyday Card is very versatile, category rewards rates may still be lower than some competitors. For instance some offer 10% cashback on dining, transport, medical spend and more, and OCBC 365 Card offers 3% cashback on recurring telco and electricity bills. Nonetheless, POSB Everyday Card often offers promotional rates in key categories like dining and transport that boost the card's value significantly. Overall, POSB Everyday Card proves an exceptional fit for those with a high volume of spend on daily essentials. While the annual fee of S$192.6 is waived for only the first year, the broad range of cashback opportunities allow average consumers to quickly recoup this cost while continuing to earn rewards.

In my opinion the best cashback for the POSB Everyday Card is for petrol at SPC 6% bonus cashback

The POSB Everyday Card probably owes its reputation to its key bonus rebates for Sheng Siong and Watsons, where you can earn 5% and 3% cashback respectively. For the former, cashback is capped at $50, which means you can spend up to $1,000 per month. In my opinion the best cashback for the POSB Everyday Card is for petrol at SPC 6% bonus cashback and a direct 15% discount when you use it with an SPC&U card.

Close to 6.5% rebates on dining

I have held this card for quite a long time and one thing I like about the card is the fact that it is used for CapitaLand malls and they are almost everywhere. So I enjoy dining taking advantage of the 10x rewards merchants to accumulate the points faster. Imagine getting close to 6.5% rebates on dining. Not to forget their sign up bonus of $60 rebates in vouchers when you spend $1,500. That's a 4% rebate excluding the points you will earn which will convert into vouchers too.

That you will find to be enough points to redeem for S$110 cash credit. Plus you can see the points add up with 100% bonus points on all spend in your first 3 months of Card Membership. Poor and upleasant hotline

I am a fresh graduate and just started my first job, I signed up for this card due to the onetime $150 cash back reward for $800 spend within the first two months. However for its main monthly rewards, it is nothing to be pleasant about and the hotline is very bad, I even had to hold more than 20 minutes during non-peak hour.

40,000 Membership Rewards points to refer a friends to the card

I like the idea that I can receive 40,000 Membership Rewards points when I get to successfully refer any of my friends to the card. Even more so as my friends can also receive 40,000 Membership Rewards points upon spend of S$5,000 in the first 3 months of their Card Membership. I think that is pretty much a win-win situation.
