Is it true that foreigners would be subjected to aggregate loan caps?

I am a foreigner and I have been living and working in singapore for a long time and I even made my own company. I have been borrowing money from time to time as an investment for my business but I pay off my debts on time. Is it true that we would now be subjected to aggregate loan caps? How would this affect us?

    No Name

In a joint statement, the Ministry of Law (MinLaw) and Ministry of Manpower (MOM) said that foreigners living in Singapore will be subject to new aggregate loan caps and the self-exclusion framework for borrowing from licensed moneylenders just like Singaporeian citizens. This just implies that this will better protect foreigners such as yourself residing here and your/their employers from the effects of over-borrowing.

Earn rebates in the form of cash rebates and LinkPoints by shopping at NTUC

Even as the OCBC Plus! Visa is not a cashback card, thus there is no cap, or "maximum" cash back, you get to still earn rebates in the form of cash rebates and LinkPoints by shopping at NTUC. However do note that there is a minimum spend of $500 in places outside NTUC before the full range of rebates and LinkPoints can be unlocked.

5% year-round cash rebates on dining, groceries, petrol and more

For me nothing beats the 5% year-round cash rebates on dining, groceries, petrol and transport (that is taxis, ride hailing, trains and buses inclusive), locally and overseas when you spend minimum S$600 per month. And the cash rebate is capped at S$150 per month. So if you don’t drive, not to worry as you can enjoy 5% cash rebate for your transportation needs, be it a taxi ride, a booking made via ride hailing apps, or trains/buses.
