I am an employee in a big company and I am having a surgery and requested by my doctor to have a whole month leave.

I am a workaholic person. I love doing my job in this big company. It has been 4 years since I was hired here. I have a good record in my job description, but I have an illness that grows through time. I went to the doctor to consult my illness and told me that I will need to go under surgery. I am required to leave my job for a month or two. Is it okay for leave for that long?

Every company must give its employees annual leaves. In this case where the employee is needed to be hospitalized. There are terms for them to qualify to be paid and avail of the sick leave. If they are serving the company for three months, they can qualify for up to 15 days of paid hospitalization leave while five days for paid outpatient sick leave. In this situation, 6 and thereafter, it can be up to 60days paid hospitalization leave.
