Can one apply for a UOB One Card from UOB without having a bank account with the bank?

Can I apply to get a UOB One card even as I have no current account with the bank? If yes how do we access the credit card rewards portal especially as I would not have an ibanking account with the bank?

    No Name

Well you definitely can as you should understand that a bank account is only one type of product the bank offers from very many. For me personally I have credit cards with both DBN and CITI but I have no bank accounts with them. Be rest assured they will give you an iBanking account to access the credit card rewards portal.

I love that I can enjoy Interest rates starting from 5.80% p.a. That works perfect for me as it helps me to be more organized and I give them thumbs up.

    Pleasant Rewards

Citi PremierMiles Visa Card / Citibank Singapore

In my opinion, this card is one of the best cards in the market especially as there are no expiry date to miles earned and an amazing 2 VIP airport lounge access. I love the fact that the card can be used for major big ticket items and to clock mileage. Redemption can be done easily without hassle and customer service staff are very helpful

However I notice that if you have an existing OCBC saving account, it makes bill payments much more seamless. And aside from being able to split payment into monthly instalments interest free, you can earn up to 1% rebate on your purchase. Only few cards in the market that allow auto convert spending into interest free instalment and still be entitled to 0.5% or 1% cash rebate.

    Poor and upleasant hotline

HSBC Revolution Credit Card / HSBC Bank Singapore

I am a fresh graduate and just started my first job, I signed up for this card due to the onetime $150 cash back reward for $800 spend within the first two months. However for its main monthly rewards, it is nothing to be pleasant about and the hotline is very bad, I even had to hold more than 20 minutes during non-peak hour.
