    The Spree Credit Cardholders Digital Online Shopping Protection ensures that in the event that a Spree Credit Cardholder buys goods online for personal use that turns out to be a “Non-delivery of the goods” or “Non-compliant goods”, insurance cover of up to S$1,000 during the Period of Insurance is provided, subject to the Allianz Cyber Insurance Master Policy and Conditions. As for Online Price Guarantee, If a Spree Credit Cardholder purchases a Covered Item online, pays for it in full, using the SCB Spree Credit Card and within 14 calendar days of the date of purchase, finds the exact item being offered at a lower price on another website, Allianz will reimburse the price difference up to S$1,000 per Covered Item, subject to the Allianz Cyber Insurance Master Policy and Conditions.

Would you consider SCB Spree cards efficient for utility payments?

SCB Spree has no exclusion and can be used for virtually all utility payments e.g. internet and phone bills plus you still get 1.5% cashback. Personally I find that efficient but depending on your needs I suggest you take a look at each retailer's website offer with the banks, so that you aim for the best deal.

In terms of Utility payment, it is best to look for each retailer's website offer with the banks, so that you aim for the best deal as they have partnership that may offer better deals however if the retailers of your choice has no other deal, SCB Spree has no exclusion, so you can use it for anything inclusive of phone/internet bills and still get the 1.5% cashback.

Poor Customer Service

I am quite very disappointed with this card as I have never received the vouchers for all the points I have accumulated so far. I have on several occasions made complaints via the phone and even in person, but all to no avail. I would not recommend this card to anyone for this reason, i have to say unfortunately.

However that is only for new OCBC Credit Card applications.

I have held this card for quite a long time and one thing I like about the card is the fact that it is used for CapitaLand malls and they are almost everywhere. So I enjoy dining taking advantage of the 10x rewards merchants to accumulate the points faster. Imagine getting close to 6.5% rebates on dining. Not to forget their sign up bonus of $60 rebates in vouchers when you spend $1,500. That's a 4% rebate excluding the points you will earn which will convert into vouchers too.
