In light of your understanding what stands Amex Singapore Airlines PPS Club Credit Card apart from other airline credit cards?

I am aware they offer a first year fee waiver but that is not unique to them. What other highlights or benefits lie with the card apart from the First Year Fee Waiver?

From my experience they have a myriad of great benefits starting from the first year waiver, all KrisFlyer miles you earn are automatically transferred directly to your KrisFlyer account with no transfer fee. They have a 24-Hour Concierge for reservations, recommendations and more. If you’re into golf then take advantage of the golfing privileges at over 40 golf clubs in Singapore, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. Supplementary Card Members are also allowed to enjoy these golfing privileges. Not forgetting the dining, you can enjoy up to 50% savings with American Express Selects at a wide selection of restaurants in Singapore and around the world and up to 50% off à la carte spa services at Adeva Spa, Spa Rael and The Ultimate.

This card offers a few thrills if you are one for accumulating miles as you can earn 1.3 KrisFlyer miles for every S$1 equivalent in foreign currency spent overseas on eligible purchases up to S$3,800 each month. On such purchases above S$3,800 each month, you can earn 2 KrisFlyer miles. Furthermore the card allows earnings of 1.3 KrisFlyer miles for every S$1 spent locally in Singapore dollars on eligible purchases up to S$3,800 each month. This card allows for users to earn KrisFlyer miles faster with 2 KrisFlyer miles for every $1 spent on singaporeair.com, silkair.com, KrisShop and at SilkAir SkyShop, both in-flight and online. I like that a lot as I am a frequent flyer. Additionally, you can earn 1.3 KrisFlyer miles for every $1 you spend on all purchases in Singapore and 1.4 KrisFlyer miles per $1 after you spend over $3,800 in a month.

No conversion fee and miles goes directly goes into your KrisFlyer account

This card has no conversion fee and every KrisFlyer mile you earn by using this card goes directly goes into your KrisFlyer account. There's no need to pay conversion fees or book your flights weeks in advance as all American Express and Singapore Airlines co-branded cards let you earn KrisFlyer miles automatically. Other miles credit cards like Citi PremierMiles Visa Card and UOB PRVI Miles Visa Card let you earn points which then have to be converted to Krisflyer miles plus you still need to pay a conversion fee.

Low point with this card is that it’s only for Singapore Airlines PPS Club members

The low point with this card is that it’s only for Singapore Airlines PPS Club members. Basically you will have to be a member of the Singapore Airlines PPS Club, and joining the club isn't as easy as you may assume. Essentially, you will have to make $25,000 net worth of travel bookings for suites, first class or business class on Singapore Airlines or SilkAir, within the space of one year.

This card will only work for you if you are a wealthy Singapore airlines customer

This card will only work for you if you are a wealthy Singapore Airlines customer. But if you travel business, first or suites class regularly, then The American Express Singapore Airlines PPS Club Credit Card is a good card to have. Not only will you earn 2 KrisFlyer miles per $1 for your Singapore Airlines bookings and 1.3 KrisFlyer miles per $1 for local spending, but you will also enjoy PPS club benefits.

Looking to maximize on the number of priority pass visits and other privileges

If you are like me an HSBC Premier client and also a frequent traveller that can maximize the number of priority pass visits, limo and meet-and-assist services as well as your supplementary cardholders too, then this is the card for you. The reduced general mile earn rate is worth the trade-off for the unlimited priority pass memberships, as well as the high number of limo and meet-and-assist services that you can use.

This card gives me $80 cash rebates every month.

I fancy the OCBC 365 credit because it has cash rebate of $80, but only after you full fill their criteria. They require a minimum spending of $800 per month which in turn earns interest from different spending. This card suits me just fine being that I have broad spending habit and in the process it gives me $80 cash rebates every month. My only dislike is the rebate on the general spending which is 0.3%.

Earn rebates in the form of cash rebates and LinkPoints by shopping at NTUC

Even as the OCBC Plus! Visa is not a cashback card, thus there is no cap, or "maximum" cash back, you get to still earn rebates in the form of cash rebates and LinkPoints by shopping at NTUC. However do note that there is a minimum spend of $500 in places outside NTUC before the full range of rebates and LinkPoints can be unlocked.

5% year-round cash rebates on dining, groceries, petrol and more

For me nothing beats the 5% year-round cash rebates on dining, groceries, petrol and transport (that is taxis, ride hailing, trains and buses inclusive), locally and overseas when you spend minimum S$600 per month. And the cash rebate is capped at S$150 per month. So if you don’t drive, not to worry as you can enjoy 5% cash rebate for your transportation needs, be it a taxi ride, a booking made via ride hailing apps, or trains/buses.

OCBC Frank Card offers young adults a great, no-fee way to earn cashback from social and online spend

OCBC Frank Card stands out for its low minimum spend requirement and annual fee waiver however, it’s not a great match for consumers seeking everyday cashback. Online spend on utilities, recurring bills, and school and hospital payments are all not eligible for rebate. Dining, groceries, and other categories are also not rewarded. Ultimately, OCBC Frank Card offers young adults a great, no-fee way to earn cashback from social and online spend. OCBC Frank Card is definitely worth consideration.
